Renovation Home Design
No detail goes unnoticed when we approach a renovation project. As a “wholistic” design firm, we have a multi-disciplinary team that specializes in both interior and residential building design. This means our team will manage your design project from top to bottom, ensuring your home will have a singular design vision throughout the process.
For historical renovations, our approach celebrates your home’s character, while bringing its design into the modern. We thoughtfully consider the landscape, surroundings, and the home’s original architecture to produce a design that honors all three.

Maintaining the historical integrity of your home is our priority, and having a home you love is our goal. We provide a guided process that emphasizes collaboration and creativity every step of the way.
Getting to Know You
We kick off every renovation project with our first discovery session. We discuss your style and your goals, as well as budget and timelines. You will leave feeling assured of our process and know what to expect in terms of scope and fees. Over time, we will continue to refine your style profile.
Site evaluation
We offer to walk through the home with you and your real estate agent prior to sale, or conduct a site visit at the home if you have already purchased. We evaluate the home's potential for renovation and provide our recommendations for demolition, remodel, or restoration.
Renovation Design
Whatever the size and scope of your project, this is the stage in which we share our design ideas. Using inspiration images and sketches, we will present a detailed plan that once approved, will become a full set of construction documents for permitting, pricing, and implementation.
Finish Selections
Our residential building team manages the finish selections for your renovated home, while our interior design team begins the inspiration stage for furnishings. Ideally, you will work with us full-scale for cohesion and peace of mind.
Landscape Consultation
We work with a talented network of landscape architects and designers. We consult on your behalf to achieve an outdoor design that complements not only the exterior of your home, but the interiors as well.
Contractor Interviews
For the execution of your construction plan, we interview builders and contractors on your behalf. We walk you through the contracts to make sure you select the perfect build team for your project.
Construction Administration
Now it is time to build! During construction administration, we regularly conduct site evaluations and construction reviews to ensure cohesion within the team. We share progress with you as the project hums along, keeping lines of communication open.
Furnishings Installation
At the completion of construction, our interior design team takes the lead. Over the course of 1 to 5 days, depending on the size of your project, we install all the pieces that will finally make your new house feel like your new home.
And finally...Reveal!
We say that we do everything for the love of home, and this is when it all comes together! We pop the champagne and welcome you with a few more surprises as we conduct our initial walk through. It is time for you to enjoy your newly renovated retreat.
